The first trimester of the 2021-2022 school year has ended and it’s time to virtually review progress and celebrate our students’ successes as a community! Please review the information below to make the most of virtual report card conferences. Trimester 1 Virtual Report Card Afternoon is scheduled for Thursday, December 2 from 1:45pm - 4:15 pm.
Accessing Report Cards: Report Cards will be posted to the Parent Portal on Wednesday, November 24 at 8 am. Please click here for more information on how to access report cards virtually via Infinite Campus. Report Cards will also be mailed home.
Scheduling Report Card Conferences: Individual Guardian/Teacher meetings must be scheduled through Parent Square beginning on Monday, November 29. Each appointment will be 10 minutes long. There will be limited time-slots for conferences, so we ask that you review your student’s grades on the Campus Portal before scheduling an appointment and prioritize the teachers that you are scheduling conferences with.
If you feel you need to discuss grades, progress, and next steps with the teacher, then go ahead and schedule a time to meet using Parent Square to request an appointment (appointments will be available on 11/29). Directions for logging into Parent Square can be found here.
Below are some helpful tips for scheduling report card conferences:
· Access your child’s report card in advance of report card conferences. Review your child’s grades, teacher comments, and other information (e.g., attendance).
· Celebrate your child’s strengths and successes!
· Identify 1-2 classes that you would like to prioritize for conferences. This may be a class where your child has shown tremendous progress; or a class in which your child needs to improve their grade.
· Request an appointment with the 1-2 highest priority classes from Monday, November 29 - Wednesday, December 1.
· You will receive an email confirmation with a link for the video conference as well as a phone number that you can call if you are unable to join with a computer.
