We know some families, especially those within our BIPOC communities who have been negatively impacted by past and present medical abuses, have questions and concerns about the vaccine. Achievement First, together with several of our partners, is bringing families a free, online, information session and Q&A about the COVID-19 vaccination for children. During the session, you’ll hear from doctors at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany and Rochester Regional Health, as well as from Wilma Alvarado-Little, Associate Commissioner, New York State Department of Health Director, Office of Minority Health & Health Disparities Prevention. The event will be translated into Spanish.
This virtual information session will be held on Wednesday, November 17 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Please join families across our community in learning more about the COVID-19 vaccine for children. Please register for the information session here and join us in the Zoom room at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The Zoom link is available here.
