How is my child being graded?

Due to the shift in remote learning and to align with other AF schools, we’ve made some changes to our grading policy this year. In 6th grade, 67% of students’ grades will be from classwork, and 33% will be on assessments (quizzes, unit tests, and interim assessments).

Assignments are due by 5:00 p.m. Late work is accepted until 5 days after the assigned date for partial credit. Students with excused absences will receive full credit if work is submitted by the teacher-assigned deadline.

When does school start and are we going back in person or remote?

The first day of school for the 21-22 year is August 30th for returning scholars. We plan to return in person.
